Arctic FlyingThe Captain’s Chair

The first photo is on Baffin Island flying fuel into remote communities. The second one is a photo me flying a Super DC-3 between Vancouver and Alaska flying high end fish product for the local and Asian market. We also flew freight such as mushrooms, fuel, gold bags (3000lbs each) into Wrangell Alaska from 65 miles inside the Canadian border, Muskox meat in the high Arctic, food, building supplies, etc.

I started flying in 1970 acquiring my Private Pilot’s License in October, 1971, in time for my 17th birthday! By 1978 I had acquired my Airline Transport Pilot’s License. To date I have acquired close to 10,000 hours in 25 different types of aircraft. I choose to rent aircraft for enjoyment now. My primary goal is to purchase and fly my own aircraft. Stayed tuned. I may offer to take you for a flight!
